Just acquired, C.V. HELJESTRAND No. 31!
Some photos of a Heljestrand I just won this morning! Cleaned, restored, honed & with ivory scales.

Yes I have a frameback. It's a 4/8s but it's a super shaver and the Ivory Scales are a big plus.

From everything I've researched, the Swedish Heljestrand steel is superb. The father & sons won numerous awards in Europe for their steel-related discoveries, and specialized in surgical (& shaving) instruments. That aside, the razors have a very modern look. Rather cool.
