My first straight is a Bartmann.. This one really caught my eye, and I got it for a deal off somebody on eBay. I hear pretty good things about Bartmann's, what's everyone's input? I'm still noobing, I'm looking for a cool mug, strop, and brush now.
    DOOM and Hirlau like this.

Can't make out the edge in that picture but looks like you should have a good'un.

Bartmann are a very high end razor. I'm in the process of restoring one at the moment. Makes sure you get someone who knows what they are doing to hone it and you'll have a super shaving straight.

    +1

I am very pleased with the Bartman razors I shave with. I always look forward to shaving with them when I see them coming up in the rotation.

I'm kinda (foreveralone) in Boston.. Not to maybe people have the interest in Straight Edge's. We have this shop call the art of shaving, but they charge out outrageous prices, brushes go for $100+. I plan on doing this myself, the Razor is in A+ condition blades perfect, I don't know how sharp it is yet. I'm going to need to invest in a strop, hone bar, and what makes the blade have a mirror finish which kind of polish? Thanks so much in advance.
