Very interesting thread, I very much enjoyed reading all of this. I was in Italy recently and was hoping I could find the same kind of shop, but I could not.

Great thread, all. Wonderful seeing these essential little shops. The master must have loved your enthusiasm.

And one will be winging it's way to the US soon dressed in white ebony scales!

RogueRazor, we've started a run on the Flaschner market! Prices will be sky rocketing!

Seriously, you guys will LOVE these razors. I'm taking mine to Pescadero camping this weekend. Nothing like a crack of dawn shave outside!

    Carazor,

I honed my antique flaschner ( which was a bit dull when I shaved the day before) and it came out great! got a very close shave with no nicks. excellent.I decided I am going to shave with them all. they deserved to be used, not saved in a box.

So I assume your Naniwa 12k came in! Yep, razors are to be used!

I'm camping in Pescadero, Flaschner in my bag for the dawn shave!

Is it possible that one of our vendors will become a selling agent for FLASCHNER razors here in the English speaking world?
To view these beauties and then have no way to readily acquire one is a bit frustrating. I would definitely buy a Flaschner if someone would present me with a "Buy it Now" button. I'll keep my eye open for the button.
