Default Looking for Kamisori links to buy...

Well I guess the Kamisori bug has bitten me but the only link I can find at this point that I trust is SRD. I'd like to see what else is out there. What are the differences in blade styles and names? I have seen a few posts here in the past that dealt with them but any new info would be helpful! thanks all!

There really aren't that many to choose from. If you mean traditional Kamisori they are only a couple being made today the rest are vintage stuff which can be hard to get and just a few that were recently available but not being made anymore. it comes down to finding what you can and grabbing it. To my knowledge traditional kamisori's are all the same style (just very minor differences in style) with size differences and some material differences.

From what I understand there aren't many makers out there these days and the kamisori are in high demand. I remember seeing another site that sold them as well as western style Japanese razors. If I find the link I'll post it for you.
You might try pm'ing JimR and ask him if he knows a good source of kamisori or has any around.

I fell in love with the aesthetic of them about two weeks after I joined SRP and saw my first thread about them.
I really want to try shaving with one someday. I'm just afraid i'll like it too much and can't afford one right now.

I have this Kamisori and it gives a great shave. eBay Australia: Buy new & used fashion, electronics & home d

It came about as sharp as a bread knife but once it was honed it gave me a BBS shave. For $150 you can't go wrong.

Edit: there is actually a photo of mine in the shave of the day for today. http://straightrazorpalace.com/shave...tml#post844433

I got lucky and found a member here who had one so I did NOT order from this seller but he does have a lot and has good feedback but again I KNOW NOTHING OF THIS seller. Maybe someone here has done business with him.

    His prices seem somewhat inflated
