Well, that set is totally out of control. As is the price. Sigh. Guess I'll have to settle for the pairs.

Actually, if I were HAD infected (not yet, thank God), it would be great to try different finishers/progressions on a 7-set to test theories. But I'd be flat broke or possibly bankrupt if I ever got there... not to mention divorced...

I shave every day and sometimes twice a day, not longer out of necessity but because I enjoy it. The twice a day shave was something I had to do for 30+ years to pass inspections twice a day at work (military). My skin doesn't seem to mind. A 7 day set is a bit beyond my budget at the moment.

Well, I scored on the Wade & Butcher set. It should be here next week. I'll need to see how much restoration is needed; I need to figure out if I can do it myself or need to send it off. The razors are 7/8 quarter hollows. The scales are suppose to by ivory.

Totally excellent. I saw someone had thrown in a bid at the last minute. Can't wait to see more pics and hear about 'em. Wish I had had the cash. Sigh. But hey, at least it went to the home team. (:

I have one seven day set and one identical seven razor set.
Here is the seven day set. There is a brass plate on the lid
dated 1923. I don't think the set has been used.

I have to shave every day, never have any discomfort. I have 7 razors in rotation, and I use a different one each day, but I don't see myself getting a 7-day set. I like the variety of my home-grown "set."
