Buckeye Burl?
I was searching for scale material and came across some bueatiful Buckeye Burl that caught my eye & was just wandering if anyone has used this for scales (or just burl in general) and if they have any info they can pass on about ease/difficulty of working with it before I pull the trigger.
Thanks

Thanked: 2591amboina burl is very popular.
Problem with burls is they are usually too brittle, and need backing to work well. away to go around the problem would be to buy stabilized burl.Stefan
