Default Help with Wade & Butcher

I picked up a unique Wade & Butcher (will take some pics tonight) but was hoping someone could give me a rough idea of age.

It has the ivory colored celluloid handles as well as tang (not just the side plates but the entire tang is covered in the same material). On the tang is stamped:
    MANUFACTURED BY
    WADE & BUTCHER
    SHEFFIELD
(IN THE CURVED FASHION AS SEEN AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE Wade & Butcher - Straight Razor Place Wiki)

The blade is a nice square point with some interesting angled flats to the spine.

The other unique thing I had not seen before is that the wedge is metal as well.

Again, I know that without pics it's hard to describe and I will get some pics up tonight, hopefully.

hi Charlie, It sounds like you have one of the W@B's that I like to call "upper crust" razors. The covered tang and worked spine were options that the working class just didn't spend money on. The lacking of a country name (England) tells me that the razor dates from 1891 and before. The wedge is probally lead and was a common material used for this. Best Regards, wildhog
