Default anyone heard of any of these razors?

Hello, just wondering if anyone knows anything about the following razors, I bought these as a package at a gunshow that I was at this weekend, I didn't pay a lot and only bought these to practice honing but I would love to find out a bit more about some of these if anyone has experience with any of these. I may actually use a few of these to shave with and the others for practice on my honing skills, any information would be appreciated. I will post some pictures tomorrow.

    1. dubl duck special no.1
    2. wade and butcher "bow" razor
    3. geneva cutlery razor looks like 5/8
    4. WG wilton celebration razor (Looks like a meat clever) I think this will be a challenge to hone.
    5. caudano torino razor "Americano" does anyone know where this is made?
    6. A. Colletti (Solingen Germany) the other side of the blade says hytone.
    7. Extra Special (Made in Germany) the box says Wm Elliot & Co.
    8. 1897 Nashville, Tennessee Centinnial Razor

    Thanks in advance!

I recognize the Dubl Duck as a really high-end razor. The Wade and Butcher, and Geneva Cutlery, are reliable brands, but not "special" like the DD. I'm sure other people will chime in on the rest.

You got a good haul, _if_ the blades are in good condition. To judge that, we need pictures.

well the dubl duck is trash, pure garbage, send it to me for proper disposal but in all seriousness, if it is in good shape, and no problems with the scales, or blade, i would send that one off to be honed, and practice with the rest, that one shouldnt be a practice blade IMO

The first three are the quality items.

Don't know specifically about the 'Americano' but it sounds as though it is an Italian razor. My barber has warned me off Italian razors as being made of too hard a steel alloy but he is a Greek.

Thanks for the input, I went ahead and honed toe W&B as well as the Geneva Cutlery, both seem to shave very well. I did a search on this site and found the wg wilton (Meat Clever) 8/8 W.G. Wilton Celebrated. Big, Heavy CHOPPER - Straight Razor Place Classifieds

I also found the same razor which GSsixguns restored and it looks beautiful, I doubt I will mess with this one. Thanks for the input guys

We like to think of the Greek as being weak and not able to deal with proper steel.

I've not seen a Greek razor, but my Italian Mastro Livi is a very nice one.

I am from Torino, Caudano is a typical surname from my area. There are many shops with that name here. Probably it has been named after the shop that sold it. I am very interested in razors from my area, if you would put a picture of it I would be very very happy to see it!

I made some investigation about your Caudano razor
The address on the box is at no more than 200 metres from my shop.
My colleague, who always lived in the centre of Torino, remembers this shop.
It closed about thirthy years ago.
It was a big shop of house tools, not a factory, so we may be certain that the name on the razor was stamped for the shop.
