Definitely agree that there is a market for razor boxes or display cases. Many members here make their own, and others (such as myself) have the need but are way too lazy. In fact, I just bought a vintage cigar box to hold my razors, because I couldn't find anything else that I really liked for a good price.

I'm currently making a shave box out of a bamboo tea box. It's a big-ish wooden box with wooden compartments. I'm removing some of the compartments to make bigger storage areas. I'm going to mount some foam rubber inside the lid with some thick elastic overtop of it. I'm cutting slots into the foam for the razors to fit in. Basically, when I open it, the razors will be sitting inside the lid, and in the compartments will be aftershave, cream, styptic, bowl, brushes, barber hone, neosporin...everything I need except for a strop. I also have a small cigar box that I'm going to use as a travel kit with a DE razor (when I get it) brush and cream.

It's a great idea because I have little hands running around the house (she just learned to walk yesterday, actually) and my apartment is pretty damp, moreso with the rain that's been drenching the east coast. I need to keep my stuff dry and safe, so it's a perfect setup.

Sorry, but no talk about prospective sales or market research is allowed on the site. If you want to discuss boxes in general that's fine.
