Thread: Another find at a new to me local Antique Store 9/28/2011 3:30pm

Awesome razors! Great find.

So, after returning to the Antique Shop just before the wedding, here is my purchase. Even with a wedding a few days away, all I could think about was getting back to pick up these razors. Apparently as I had stated before, these were the tools of her father or grandfathers. I also posted the leather roll that he kept his razors secure, in to and from work.

Turns out that I was able to pick up two different Thornhill Razors. One rounded and the other with a Barber Cut. All in all, I picked up the lot for 100.00 bucks. As I am still learning what to look for while out shopping, I appreciated everyone support and assistance on jumping on this buy. Shop wanted over 38.00 per blade and in the end, including his leather wrap, each for under twenty bucks....

Did you happen to ask the shopkeeper if the daughter brought in any hones? Might be worth a phone call if you did not...
