I would let grandma choose, but then I would have her shave either my face or my head just to make sure everyone is comfortable with it. Just my.02.

10-01-2011, 10:35 PM #13I think a pretty dull pocket knife could lopp off the foreskin pretty quickly... the screaming backdrop might make for a good shave with a decent straight razor.
Check with your priest or rabbi for the proper tool... you're pretty much in the right place for a good shave.
It's been a while (56 years) since I got my foreskin lopped off... can't really remember much about it.I was kinda young then

I would go with what your mother-in-law is most comfortable with. Ask her what she wants to use. I think she may have some experience in this matter.
The safest, imho, would be with a multi-blade Gillette or Schick and some aloe vera shaving gel to avoid any possible allergic reaction to the ingredients in shaving cream or other gels.
