Looking for information on a razor stamped with Acier Fin
Hey Guys,
I just picked up a straight on e-bay that I am tring to find any information on. It is stamped with Acier Fin and has an F with 6 stars around it. The on info I could find was with a stamp of Ancier Fondu in the standard guide to razors page 16. Im tring to date the razor and find something about it. Im not looking for a value on it. I know I probley overpaid for it but I had to have it. Does anyone know anything about it. I have attached a pic. Thanks guys.

Someone put great scales on it!
It looks like a grand old steel razor....
If it shaves you well you got a bargain.

Thank you for the replys and the information. Im looking froward to getting it and giving it a go. The seller claimed that it was shave ready. Maybe it is maybe not. He did say that the scales were original as well as the copper washers. Im sure he didnt have it for 200 years, so you can never tell. The scales did have worm holes and he used a trick that I like to use on my razors to fill the holes on really nice scales. A little epoxie and some horn powder that I try to color match. Helps strengthen the scales and doesnt stick out like a sore thumb. I am still wondering what the F and 6 stars are about. Thanks again for the feedback. You have to love this site.
