Maas is a metal polish.
In Australia we have Autosol and Brasso and various others.
Please read the WIKI articles on resoring razors safely - I dropped a blade I was working on yesterday and tried to catch it with my foot - needless to say it bled for a while....mmmmmmm
At least it didn't hit the concrete floorHang on and enjoy the ride...

I use a bit of super fine steel wool(0000 grade) and get about a small dot of it on the steel wool and rub away. if you do this repeatedly - I usually do about 3-5 times it'll remove most surface rust. I think you can use a towel or kitchen roll as well but I like using the steel wool.
check the wiki as well as Havachat mentioned it'll give you a good idea of other alternatives
kind regards
Alex
