Very nice indeed, especially at that price. If it helps put it in perspective, I just bought a Thomas Turner 4 day set (in good condition) for $400 and feel quite happy about it. So I think you got a real score, congratulations!

I wasn't aware that there were sets that came in amounts other then 2 and 7. I also have a question about the pyramid stamp. Is the 7 inside the pyramid mean something? Thanks for all the help guys. I hope I can restore or at least halt the march of time on some of these blades...

The one with the two chips looks like it's cracked. If that's the case that razor is just scales. The others look quite decent.
Next thing on my todo list would be to convince jimbo to trade me those 4 turners for say 8 gencos or something

Yes, I have had 2 day sets (or perhaps just matching pairs), 4 day sets, 5 day sets and 7 day sets. All with cases. My favourite is a Joseph Rodgers 7 days set with detachable blades and a single walrus ivory scale that the blades clip into. There are some excellent multi-razor sets out there, just waiting to be loved.

I am not sure I'll be trading these Turners.

    Hi James,
is there any chance of posting some pics of your Joseph Rodgers 7 day set? I have never seen interchangeable blades before, and Joseph Rodgers only made quality stuff. While you´re at it, photos of the Turner set would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards from a fellow Aussie

    Hi Shane,

You can see pictures of the Thomas Turner set in this thread. Pictures of the Rodgers set (while being restored by Bruno) are in this thread - JMS (the original post-restore owner) and I did a swap.

Awesome razors.......they speak volumes of a bye-gone era.
    Thanks for sharing with us
Amazing to see restored to almost their full former glory.
Glad they are in good hands.
