    Anyone heard of these? Used one? Are they any good?

    I firmly believe that all Kamisori's are great razors. The Japanese have been working with steels in swordmaking for centuries, and the skilled sword smiths try new techniques and keep in practice by making razors and other home cutlery. Akamatu would only be the family name of the smith who it. I can't remember who made mine, but it is magnificent.
