    Default Puma/DD razor?

My father in-law just bought a razor off ebay that has "Puma Solingen 350" on one side of the tang, and "Bresnick New York" beneath what appears to be the Dubl Duck logo on the other side. Any ideas?

p.s. I'm not sure how to post photos otherwise I would...

You should be able to find several examples of such razors posted on this forum. Bresnick never made razors, they only sold razors that others like puma, dovo, etc. made for them.

We really don't know who made the entire range of DD razors but for a few of the earlier models the makers are known because their names are on the razor. Puma is one of those select few.

I've got a few of them and they are all good shavers. If it is in good condition and properly honed your father in law will have a "good" razor. Talk him out of it if you can.

Thanks for the information and help!

Unfortunately, he knows just enough about razors that that would be a difficult task. Plus, I already talked him out of his daughter...
