OF Kama's And Double Ducks
I my last post here I told of a barber who obviously, got snookered as I cant think of any other word for what happened. The short version is that I asked him if he had any old razors for sale and he showed me a DD goldenedge, which turned out to be a KAMA with a really nice set of DD scales on them and most of the markings ground off. The question is why would someone go thouugh the trouble of doing that as the Kama seems to be well known and on the Revisor website the seem to go for a pretty penny,at least as much as the DD does. One other thing I learned is from the Coti
bout I got ,what a difference between the one I got recently and the one bought 20 years ago.
The guys I have learned from here were right on the money when they said that natural stones can vary greatly,I just didnt think they would be such a big difference.Anyway why would someone switch the scales like that? Anyone?
