Vintage Sheffield?
Gentlemen-
I just won this over on the 'Bay and would like your opinions on what you think. I especially like the scales. http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Straight...QQcmdZViewItem
Thankyou in advance.

Looks like an OK piece. I hope you didn't bid much over what you already have there as you can get similar or better pieces for about the same price on a regular basis.
Edit: The pic is too low quality to get a decent analysis of the condition

It arrived in the mail today and the blade has no nicks. I'm pretty pleased. There IS a little 'divet' on the toe of the blade that may hone out and there seems to be a bit of hone wear on the toe also. It's marked 'Extra Hollow Ground, Sheffield' so I think that's a good thing. I'll try and get a few pix this weekend. All in all I'm fairly pleased with it.

Thanked: 96Love Sheffield steel razors. This month, I picked up 2 vintage 1830-40. They are very easy to hone, hold a great edge and are really smooth shaving. I find them less harsh then German steel.
