    Default Bocker Inox

I came upon a very nice looking Bocker, and of course had to buy it. The prices was just right, the condition is great, it has very minimal hone wear.
When it arrived imagine my surprise to find out it was Stainless Steel blade (I missed that in the auction pics).
I did a search on the forum(not very thorough I must admit) and did not find any reference to such razor. I have seen only carbon Bockers so far, I am aware of new production stainless blades only.

    Congratulations!

That is a beautiful razor. Let us know how it hones and shaves.

    Happy Shaving!

A very nice find sir! I like the SS blades and that one looks like it hasn't been used much. I wish you many great shaves.

I don't think that I've ever seen a Boker stainless blade before. Nice pick up.

    Looks good Stefan.
Some info on the Arbolito branding here: http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...olito-2-a.html
    No mention re Inox tho.

    Oz,
    thanks for the link.
There are a difference from the Bocker in that linked thread, mine does not have Arbolito stamp on the other side of the tang.

Mine comes from Japan, where from what I have seen many german blades are stainless, so it is possible the razor was made for the Japanese market.

I honed it yesterday, very easy to hone compared to other stainless blades I have honed.

'Arbolito' & 'Alemania' are both Spanish words but knowing how cosmopolitan the Japanese are in marketing you may well be right.

I got one of those to play with for a little, and I loved it. Fantastic shaver and extremely smooth on the face.
