    Default New razor

Hey all, I got some new razors. I got a Boker half hollow grind and one from a company that I can't find any info on. It says Schliesman's Special on one side and F.J. Schliesman. Hamilton, O. Germany It has some slightly ornate work on the scales which are tortoise. Has anyone heard of this company? I will put up pictures shortly. Any info will be appreciated! Also the Boker is in fair condition except for some black goop on one side of the blade. I got most of it off with some light rubbing with cotton pads and alcohol. Some of it's stubborn and won't release, any recommendations to get the black off?

For the black, Mass/Flitz/Mother's chrome polish/any metal polish generally is what's recommended. That is, assuming you even have a razor. We don't believe peoples around here without pictures!

**kidding. Seriously though, we like seeing pics.
