    Default Kamisori ??

I really like the look and idea of the Kamisori. My only concern is the asymmetrical grind. I can only shave with my right hand and done understand how you would keep the flat side against your face all the time. Also how do you hone them? I'm looking for a new razor for my b-day and this will be my first purches seance my poor mans kite. Witch has done the trick of giving me every thing I needed for a low price now I'm ready to get high end equipment. Just ordered a TM strop with linen. Just need a blade to go with it.

If you are going to shave with a Kamisori and do it using one side only in many respects it's like learning to use a straight all over again. Many use both sides and that works too. As far as honing them goes they are different and that's something you have to learn too.

We have had many threads on the subject here so a search will get you all the info you will need.

I shave with both sides and it works just fine for me.
