Nice razors those W&B's.
Perhaps I should add one to my rotation soon.
Thanks for sharing, rgds, Jazor.

Do it. Mine holds a fantastic edge and is either an extremely forgiving, or extremely merciless shave. (Depends on my technique that day, but whiskers just melt off with it. I had a 7 day beard that I didn't whittle down at all before the shave. One pass it had removed 97% of it. Zero problems.)

@ KrazieSj: what you stated is exactly what I understood of another straight razor enthusiast. He described the W&B's as very "mellow" or "easy going" somehow.
We have looked at the razors and were not able to point out one particular feature that this behavior could be assigned to and we concluded this "character" comes forth from the total design and the specific metal compound.
The only point which for me is a little prohibitive is that I like big blades such as 8/8 and these don't seem to be on offer a lot at earthly price levels.
Kindest regards, Jazor.

Little late getting back to you, but I've realized now what my problem was/is. I used to shower or use a hot towel before my shave and it was making my skin too soft for shave and was giving me razor burn on my jaw line every time. Now I shave before my shower and it's been flawless ever since.
If I'm in a bit of a rush and want a razor that just gets it done, it's my Wade and Butcher.
