    Default Razor ID

    After going through about 40 nice razors at the flea mkt. this morning this was second to last.I saw the lettering on the spine and the swirled scales and and to have it.Can anyone tell me who made it and about when.

    I don't have a clue but it's a nice razor. Probably some generic German maker made for the market in France or Italy whichever the other language is on it.

    thanks for your input,whenever I try to Google the info there is one sales site that has the same blade,with the "8008" ground off with XXXX.Also get some Portugese stuff with the same name"Acier"(aparently a Portugese wine manuf.)so im'e thinking for the Portugese market.

    I'm guessing solingen made for french market, this side of the century. Around 1910-1940 perhaps?
    Acier superieur is french and means superior steel. Aimante means loved, or something along those lines.
    Looks to be a nice well made quality razor. I'm guessing it will be fun

    By the way Acier superieur aimante means Magnetize superior steel and not loved
