Thread: DD Wonderedge ?

Were the ducks on the tang ever blue on a wonderedge like on a goldenedge? I know the wonderedge tang has the spirals but does it always?? Thanks

All that I have ever seen had the spirals. Whether there were exceptions I don't know. Not sure about blue ducks. Interesting question and I look forward to someone coming along that knows for sure.

In General they go like this

Goldedge = Blue ducks
Satinedge = White ducks
Wonderedge = Black ducks


_BUT_ be very careful as to saying anything is absolute because this hobby has a habit of proving you wrong, as you can see in the Daffy Ducks there are differences out there..
As to the Spirals any WE that I have seen that has not been restored has them even the restored ones if you look close you can usually find them...

The only problem is those colors on the ducks is the first thing to go on them so you need a really pristine piece and you only see it on the Pearlducks. It's more interesting to note how the duck logo has changed over the years both in size and in appearance.
