    Default A.J. Jordan Celebrated

So I snagged this guy off the bay the other day. I know a lot of guys say they like the Sheffield's so I thought I would give it a go. Also read somewhere on here that the the Sheffield Celebrated hollows are a little more beefier than the full hollows I shave with. I'm hoping that holds true.

I decided to snoop around the site to see if I could find any more A.J. Jordan Sheffields, not too many it seems.

I haven't received the razor yet but it seems to be in solid shape from the pics (didn't post all of them). Only concern is the dark spot right on the bevel close to the toe.

Looks to be a fine razor and it doesn't look to have much use. It also appears to be a fuller grind. The spot on the bevel may mean that someone will need to hone past the blemish to get to good steel. I would give it a few strokes on a hone to see where it is. The razor should give good shaves after being properly honed. How much metal removal that will require can only be known once in hand and evaluated or honed. Enjoy your purchase!

Thanks! Yeah it doesn't look like it has too much hone wear, another bonus. I'll be sending it out for sure. Crossing my fingers it won't take a lot of metal removal to get past that spot.
