Thread: Is this a good deal? Buying my first razor and thinking of these used ones...

    Just for the record, TI does or at least did make a 3/8 razor. Nothing fishy about that. As far as buying a razor, you pay for quality. If you don't want to spend the appropriate amount of money on a good, shave ready razor, you will probably be severely disappointed. JMO.

    I got the sight unseen deal from whippeddog...awesome purchase...very happy with it..

    $49 for shave ready razor, stop, and balsa..

    I'm very new to this but enjoying the Hell out of it

    I'm currently waiting for my shipment from Larry to arrive. I got the sight unseen deal with a full size barbers hone for $70. Makes more sense to me to start out with, and potentially, bang up a less expensive razor instead of spending big bucks on my first.

    Shave ready with some stropping = not shave ready

    Add $40.00 to the price for honing.
