Thanked: 14Can someone date these razors?
Sorry, no pictures. I picked up a few razors at an antique shop this weekend. Havent found much info on these ones. Can anybody give a date? 1-F.E. Loeffler and Co. "Livesteel." 1-H. Boker and Co "The Lance." This one has a covered tang which is pretty cool looking.
TIA, Don

He just gets them and Wintchase is already trying to deflower these innocent razors. Have you no shame?
He saw a lawyer killing a viper on a dunghill hard by his own stable; And the Devil smiled, for it put him in mind of Cain and his brother Abel.

Dating razors is not an easy task, and without pics it is pretty much hopeless - unless someone happens to know the maker intimately. The grind, style, tail, stamps, pins and scales can all bear tell-tale signs of the age of your razor. In short - pictures are very important in dating services
