My understanding was Dovo uses Swedish Steel for all their Carbon Steel razors-current production that is.

Thanked: 995This comes off the Dovo website:
"The basic material preferred for open razors is normal steel with a minimum carbon content of 0,6%, in order to achieve the highest degree of hardness, elasticity and resistance to wear."“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power.” R.G.Ingersoll

I have the Mammoth scaled model they came out with a few years ago and it says right on the blade "Swedish Steel". I doubt they sourced special steel for this model.
