I have a couple TI's and a Japanese traditional straight razor and both are great razors. Both are of the harder steels that I personally prefer, but I can't really say which is a "better" razor as you can't go wrong with either razor as long as it's properly honed.

Just get the one that talks to you the most. They are all quality pieces.

All good stuff. Get the one that appeals to you the most.

I would recommend getting something that is a different grind than what you have, especially if this is a second razor. I was astonished at the differences I felt when I got to using a wedge for the first time, completely different feeling than my full hollow blade. I picked up a half hollow blade and that is also a different experience.

Its nice to have options, if I have two or three days of growth to shave, I'll reach for the wedge. When its only a day between shaves or this winter cold and chlorine from the pool has my face feeling a little more sensitive, I'll go for the full hollow.

They also all have different points, some spiked, some round, more aggressive less aggressive etc etc.

I believe that variety will in the end make me a better shaver, it keeps me on my toes!

I'd go for a TI, I have tried a few different ones and they all were great shavers.
