Okay let's try a new question one that hasn't been asked
Which one or two of your favorite razors requires the least attention and still gives a great shave. My favorites have always been the Gottlieb and Hammesfar, but recently I have discovered the Kama Brand which gives a great shave with a few swipes on the strop, and I mean very few it just never seems to need anything else and I've been shaving with it almost every day for about three weeks now. Anyone else?

That is a good question, and I really haven't thought much about it.
I would have to say my Wm. Gilchrist Jersey City faux frameback. Just like a Timex and keeps ticking along and feels like it did when I got it back from Glen many moons ago! I always give it 20 and 40 before and after like I do with all of my razors. Never has needed anything more.

I have a couple Robert Williams and they seem to go on forever giving surperb shaves without need so much as a touchup.

I have a vintage Bismark that holds an edge longer than any other razor I have owned.

One that fits that description is the latest TI silverwing. The one with the barber notch point. I usually rotate through many razors to where it is hard to remember which got what treatment but I like the blade profile, balance, and what have you on that TI so much , that I shave with it frequently, and it hasn't needed anything besides normal stropping.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 1936I have to concur with the NY razors, good stuff. I do have a couple customs made out of 1095, but didn't figure they really counted...
