Thanked: 1[QUOTE=nalbonen4;898727]I love those black and white scales! What material are they?
I honestly don't know what type of material they're made out of. I did the teeth test, and that came up negative. So they're not made of bone. They don't feel like wood. They actually feel exactly like my Boker. Some kind of pre-plastic is my best bet.

My honey didn't know what to buy, so we bought together a #78 J.A.HENCKELS ZWILLINGSWERK a few days before Christmas.
On Christmas-Evening then she surprised me with another #46 EMPOR (Engels&Co.) ...!
THANKS A LOT SANTA for helping her with that perfect decision...!

Wifey Loves Me!
SWMBO really did a nice job razor-wise.
She set me up with a 5/8 Dovo Half Hollow from AOS, a Beautiful Hope Cuttlery 5/8 with full color peacock and a 8/8 WB The Celebrated For Barber's Use!

I don't have a camera and I haven't received the goods yet, as I'm waiting on a Paypal bank transfer, but I have an Boker Edelweiss, leather pouch and a scuttle from SRD on hold. It pains me that it takes 3-5 days to do a transfer when I think it should be pretty much instantaneous being electronic.

Thanked: 247W&B and a Genco with custom wood scales...
Just haven't yet decided which wood it'll be. haha. I got these from my parents. The W&B is a true wedge, and has the You Lather Well, I'll Shave Well blade etch. Quite possibly the best Christmas gift ever!

The razor you received will provide great shaves and the wood is beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished work.
I'm really enjoying seeing everyone's new razors. Keep them coming!
I didn't receive any razors this year. I can't figure out why?Last edited by Joed; 01-06-2012 at 04:53 PM.
