Puma EBay purchase
Hopefully it's as good as it looks. I heard good things about Puma.
Seller says that there is no nicks or cracks and came with the weird box the contained a strop and hone.

LOL... I was bidding against you last night. I wasn't going above $120 with shipping included. Good grab!

No way!!!! Lol it came to 122.00 with shipping! Lol I trying to round out a stable of razors. So far I have a Wade Butcher, a Hoffritz, a robert Klaas, a Thiers Issard, a Le Grelot and now the Puma. I was bidding a ancient wade butcher with smashed scales and a pitted but serviceable blade but it went nuts in the last hour and went from 35 to 164!!! Someone REALLY wanted that baby!

I am brand new to straights. I have been DE safety shaving for a while and finally got the nerve to make the move very recently. I am literally waiting for my new Dovo 2683 Bismarck to arrive in the mail today. I lived in Germany for a few years and have a few Puma knives that I really enjoy. I have read good things about the Puma straights and thought that one you purchased looked like a great catch. Had I known it was a fellow SRP member I would have probably bowed out earlier and let you get it for much less.... Sorry about that. I have read all the warnings about e-bay but that razor called out out me for some reason. I figured since I have a new straight on the way it was a good deal to try and grab that vintage Puma. I may end up trying to get one that is "shave ready" on here in the classifieds or at bobsrazors.com, classicshaving.com or the B&B BST. Anyway, it looks like you got a good deal on that razor nonetheless. It sounds like you have a great collection going... I hope to get there some day in the not too distant future. Feel free to let me know if you plan on getting rid of any of those great straights in your collection.

As nice as that Puma is, that strop box may be the prize there. Most of the vintage ones I have seen, the hone that is on it is usually a thuringen, CF or Water of Ayr. Great buy.

I imagine that just about any razor being bid on that the chances are good another member is also bidding on. I have an interest as a heads up on this nice Dubl Duck wonder edge ! Lol I want to get a Hart 7/8 polished round with Cocobolo scales at the end of the month. But if I do think of getting rid of some I will PM you first.

Yeah I thought the box was interesting. Would be a neat thing to totally refurbish.
