    Default Christmas present to myself.

I decided to give myself a Christmas present this in a form of Belgian Waterstones.

So I called Howard at The Perfect Edge and since he is local to where I live we set up a time for me to pick some up. I come over to get the stones (picked my own from a bunch he had in stock) and Howard opens a few small boxes and shows me the razors that he is been designing.
Needless to say my Christmas gift got a little more expensive, but after looking at the razors and having one in my hand I couldn’t go home without it. Got a few shaves with it since I got it. The feel is just like my vintage Torrey, shaves very well. Very happy with both the razor and the Waterstones.
All of you guys are right when you say that you can’t just get one razor.. it’s an addiction.
LOL, do I call Howard and get the 6/8” as well…

I already have 5 in my collection.
Several Torrey razors, Williams Razor Co., Crown Razor, Robison Sure Edge and The Perfect Edge.

Nice job on the stone and the razor. Howard had a 5/8 and 6/8 produced as their brand. Enjoy!

When I met Howard about a year ago he mentioned that he is working on a design that they will be producing and selling, but I forgot all about it until I got in tough with him a few weeks ago. Great guy, I learned a lot from him. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures I will post a pic of razors that I have.

Thank you IgorR! I'm really pleased to be following in the footsteps of great razor companies in the Worcester, MA area. Torrey and Williams made solid, no-nonsense razors in the New England tradition. Glad to have made your Christmas a "hair" better! : )

    Default Updated with pictures.

Finally got around to taking pictures and figuring out how to upload them..
As you can tell on of the items is not a razor but a printers block for Torrey razors...

Does anyone have more information on the second razor from the top?
It's Williams Razor Co. Worcester Mass. Not much information about it online or the forum.
Guess I can make an appointment with Worcester Historical Society curator and see what information they might have about the company.
Any history that anyone here has about the company.

Razor is in MINT condition. It has been sharpened from the looks of it, but the gold leaf has never been polished off and as you can see covers all of the lettering.
