Thanked: 9Electric straight razors
Made by sth and Lauterjung, I think. I really like the etching. I know, superficial... Joe Chandler had one for $35, the only thing that stopped me was the ugly handle.
So are they good shavers? Some of them seem to go quite high, unexpected for me
I am really interested to hear more about them from people who use / know them

I am the guy that bought the Freidmann & Lauterjung "Electric" 6/8 Round Point from Joe. Fantastic razor! It has a lot more heft to it than the 5/8 that I also use so it just glides across my face with no pressure. Joe had the edge perfect and very sharp. I really like it a lot. A very good shaver!
For the record, I am a newb to straight shaving so I have no experience with any other razors than the two I have. Well, a third is on order...
Everyone here recommends getting a "shave ready" razor when you are starting out and Joe Chandler is praised for his razors. I figured I couldnt go wrong getting one from him and I was right.
I actually like the handle on this razor... It fits in my hand well too.

Thanked: 9I should have bought this one
You are a smart and lucky man for snatching this. I thought it'll wait for me there while I grab this and that ebay lemon...
Cheers
