Default Need "Expert" opinion1727 C Christoffersen G Felix Solingen

I recently was given a razor still in original box by a friend. I assumed it would be easy to investigate like everything else seems to be in the google era. On the box it says Gustav Felix solingen and what looks like gustav wedge?
It seems to be in good repair folds still sharp and no rust. The box also is pretty great
It has been extremely difficult to find any info on c christoffersen or the MN location
If anyone out there can give me some history and clue to its value I would appreciate it

    On the blade It says

    1727 girard ave north
    minneapolis mn
    made in germany
also christoffersen wedge on opposite side

No need to post several thread of the same topic

Don't know anything about this razor, but a after a quick search here I found this: http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...tml#post545035

As for a clue to the value you won't get that here since appraisals are not done/allowed here.

The value of a razor is individual to the seller/buyer, to Mr.X it can be worth $100, while Mr.Y thinks it's only worth $5

Ok so to get hip to the lingo, and forgive my ignorance as to the no appraisal thing, as far as desirability goes where does it rank? And why can I find nothing about c Christoffersen razors made at the Minneapolis location and the few bits are def not gustav Felix sloingen. is any of that significant?

Dude, I think you should only post this in one area. Just sayin'. Right now you've got it in 3 sub forums.

The razor was made in Germany. It was probably ordered for a barber or a barbers supply house in Minneapolis.
