Default Dovo Fritz Bracht razor dating

I've recently aquired a Dovo 55 with the Fritz Bracht stamp. It definitely looks like it's of a more recent vintage. Does anyone know approximately when Dovo stopped using the Fritz Bracht stamp on their razors?

Thanks Kees, that was really an interesting read for me. I have a 7 day set of razors that are identical in every way except two of the seven are stamped Dorp-Voos instead of Fritz Bracht on the reverse tang. Must be a set made shortly after the takeover.

Glad you liked it. This is the sort of stuff I would like to see in the Wiki.

I actually looked at that yesterday, do they mention when the Fritz Bracht name was dropped? Maybe I am missing it.

You didn't miss it, because there isn't correct info about it.
But based on the razors, that I've seen and the company's history, I think, it was in around 1953.
In 1953, the company changed the logo.
In 1953, Fritz Bracht son-in-law Dr. jur. Ernst Kirschbaum joins the company.
But don't forget about this fact:
"...in 1960 Dr. Kirschbaum still registers a straight razor production division in four rooms (380 m2) and with 24 employees at the Solingen Chamber of Commerce."
It was a good reason to change the stamp.
All above is my reasoning. I can be wrong.

I've got a razor marked 'Tennis' on the tang with Dorp-Voos on the reverse. Kind of strange because according to their dating D&V were out of it when Dovo picked up the Tennis logo. OTOH, ...... IIRC, Fritz Bracht was the maker of the Tennis brand, so I guess he could mark them as he saw fit.

Jimmy, nothing strange. But there're some interesting moments:
"Tennis" was taken over in 1952.
    From the DOVO history:
"In the second half of Dorp & Voos' centennial, the Fritz Bracht company, operating under the name DOVO, expands the cutlery products range to include scissors, pocket knives, tweezers, manicure sets and razor supplies."
    It means - after 1956.
