Thanked: 2591I am not sure about Sub Cero, I think the name is related to the tempering method but not 100% sure.
I have seen a bunch of #10's that are stainless,
but here is a post about #13 stainless

I've got a straight at home that I reckon is 1920's - 30's. It is a Berg (Solingen) "rustless" which is stainless.

Rudolf Schmidt made a stainless razor, and I have some Solingen razors with unclear makers that are marked Inox.

the other week I saw a Gottlieb on ebay
I think that's probably a fair amount of the vintage stainless razors, they really are a tiny fraction compared to the carbon steel.

Vintage vs. Antique. Thats a good question.I dont really know the answer to that, but from i can tell/always thought is if it is an old model of a razor that still being produced, its an antique. If it is an old razor that is no longer produced, then it is a vintage razor. Kinda like wine. You can't have a particular vintage of wine that dates to tomorrow. It has to have a timeline that it existed in,that exists no more.Make sense?
