    I felt the same as you, but I have a square point 6/8" blade and is easy to use; the point doesn't catch the skin like you think it would...these are absolutely WONDERFUL razors.

    I have a 7/8 round tip with a polished blade, jimps and Pearlex scales. It is a great shaver. It didn't come as shave ready as I like but after I honed it, I liked it a lot. I'm still a rookie at honing so I had to reset the bevel before I got it shave ready (I'm sure it just needed touched up if it was in the hands of someone that has more honing experience). The razor is still sharp after a few months of my original honing! All of my other razors are 6/8 so the Hart is big and noticeably heavy but I have no problem using it...
