Hmm. Hirsch & Stern were exporters. I wonder, could the crown stamp have been done for a monarch of a different nation, one the razor was made for export to? There are options. There are two Leopolds from Belgium (Leopold I reigned 1831-1865 and was the first king of the Belgians, Leopold II took over in 1865 and reigned until 1909).

There's also Ludwig II of Bavaria, famous for building the Neuschwanstein castle. Also called Mad King Ludwig.

My bet would be one of the Leopolds, probably Leopold I, as he had numerous ties to England. But that's provided that there was any likelihood of a crown stamp for a foreign power.

I was wondering about foreign monarchs. Has anyone seen this on different razors?

Both are great looking razors. That big wedge is fantastic! I love the look of the first one too. As long as there isn't any active rust on the first one...I would just hone it up and shave with it. No buffing, sanding, or polishing.
The big wedge will polish up nicely, there was almost no surface pitting / patina / scratching, so I will do a little hand sanding / polishing. Also, the only part of the etching left ends in a script "l." Unfortunately the other one had some active rust hiding under the surface dirt so it will get some hand sanding all around but will turn out nicely. Both are getting new scales as soon as I can get to the workshop.

I'll take that to mean that you won't send them to me if I ask you to
They look fantastic - I hope they clean up well.
    I love Sheffields as well.
    Great score
Hang on and enjoy the ride...

Edit: took out link, moving to auction talk. If anyone new has any information on the LR though that would be awesome.

I wonder whether the L in the L R was just a stamping error, but I like Neil's possible explanation better!

Yeah, an old thread. Bump for a sale. Probably better in auction talk.
