Thread: First shave in a year...and NO cuts either.

Given the weather, n a VERY sensitive face, I've been sporting a beard for close to nine months....until today. I went into the cave, pulled out one of My straights ( I currently own 3 as of now), gave it good stropping on both the linen, n leather sides, then went to work on removing the woolly mammoth. I have to say I was rather impressed, no cuts!!! I took it nice n slow, pulled the skin to keep it tight, and took gentle passes. I did wtg, and atg, and got a baby smooth face. I think the g.f. is gonna be awfully impressed when she comes home n sees the new baby face. I'd forgotten how enjoyable it is to stand there, and try to shave knowing a little slip could be serious trouble.

Now that's a manly shave! Good to know your muscles don't forget the finely tuned movements in nine months.
