Used a Feather Super Pro blade with my DX today. Four day growth and it melted away the whiskers. For me these are keepers. Needless to say I ended up with a BBS.
If I was to compare it to a straight it would be the same as my Harts.

okay, I threw in the towel and ordered a Feather RG and a pack of professional blades from Italianbarber.com ($99 + $14.99 for 20 blades):
Feather RG Original Folding Handle
I found a place that was much lower cost, but was unfamiliar with them so passed. The price is listed at an amazing $84.00 for the folding RG and $12.49 for 20 blades.

While I am waiting for my Feather RG to arrive, I note the profile is perhaps similar to a wedge. Has anyone shaved with both a feather artist club and a wedge? Is there any similarity in how they shave?

there is some similarity but the shave is different, a feather shaves different then a straight IMO, but I can't really describe it, it's something you have to experience yourself.
