I wish the scales were still good but I think they blade will clean up and make for a fun first restoration project

Those scales could still be good for a shorter blade. Just sand the blade end round and reposition the pivot pin hole. Don't throw them away.

Thanked: 0I'm a pack rat so I know they won't get thrown out LOL Besides without them I wouldn't have known it was a Wostenholm and Son celebrated razor from their Washington works. I will use them for a pattern for the new scales and steal the wedge out of it

Thanked: 0I think laser etched wood scales sound like the best idea so far. That's what I missed about my last job, having access to a water jet and getting to do all that kinda stuff. I will PM you about it tomorrow.
