You can no longer get a zodiac inlay with those, which really takes away from the appeal of the Astrales.

Yea but I believe the synthetic will have a pretty durable feel. I just didn't want a cheap plastic like my current dovo shavette. I'll let you know how it feels quality wise once I receive it.
