I have one with similar scales . My blade is marked Sanda Cutlery Co. , and the scales only have 1 pin whereas yours has 2 . Name: 100_0851.jpg

Ubet nice looking razor, scales look to be in good shape but the blade looks to me that i see a few nicks and hopefully not a crack
about 1 inch from the heel. The chips are easily removed but if thats a crack thats trouble.

    You're pooched...

Once you hone past that crack, the razor will be past its service life. Harvest the scales for another project and pour a beer for lesson learned.

About a week ago I went to the local flea market. A guy there had a razor for sale. I looked it over and it was in good shape so I bought it. He then placed it in the box and handed it to me. I did not know that one end of the box was damaged and open. When I went to put it in my shirt pocket, the razor fell out and hit the cement floor. The blade did not come open. I looked at it but the lighting where I was standing was not real good. When I got home and looked at it, It had a crack just like yours. I am sorry for what happened to you, but just wanted you to know, It happens to most of us at one time or another. I have been collecting razors for years and know better.
