Wade & Butcher Chinese Razors
I got one of these a while back I have read the other post on here about these razors I wanted to know if anyone has gotten any more info on them. The one I have differs slightly from the others in that it has in English above the symbols LOWER & BARR and the symbols are a little different also. If I can find out how to attach pictures with this iPad I will do so or get my kids lap top

Thanked: 46Both England and Germany exported razors all over the world, and it is not unusual to find country of manufacture written on them in the language of the receiving country. Best, John

I read somewhere too, that some were marked in Chinese for the gold mining communities and such here in the states. No expert though...

Not sure, but I've read somewhere that many of those chinese signed razors were nothing but a fad, and that they really mean nothing in chinese. Just a fashion thing. Perhaps we have a member that actually can read chinese that could clear this up?
