Thanked: 2C. Lutters & co. 107 3/8
I need help. I have just "inherited" a straight razor from my wife's great-grandfather. The only information I have on it is what is stated in the title of this thread. Between the pivot and the heel, on one side of the blade it says "C. Lutters & Co." (I should note that the "u" in Lutters has an umlaut above it) with what looks like a picture of a lion under it (which is quite worn) and the other side says "107" and 3/8. Obviously the 3/8 refers to the blade width, though I am unsure of the 107. The scales are black, maybe bake lite? The blade is a hollow ground. Beyond that, I can't seem to find any other information on this razor. Any help you guys can offer me would be very appreciated. I will post pictures sometime tomorrow.
