I have a NOS 6/8 Amor razor made by Wilhelm Noelle. It has red semi-transparent scales with the Angel Amor logo on the front scale. The fit & finish is very well done. The blade is extra full hollow which sings when shaving or stropping. I just had a pleasant smooth shave with it today. The balance and feel of this razor in the hand is very good. The blade has a curved indentation on the tang side of the shoulder which makes for a good secure thumb placement in certain shaving angles.

Apparently Wilhelm Noelle was one of many Solingen master blade smiths who made razors for various brands. The Amor razor has Noelle's name on the tang so it may have been his attempt to establish his own brand. My razor is in new unused condition because it was in storage since the 1950's. It is of high quality on par with present day razor makers.
