Thread: Thiers Issard Buffalo Razor

I have a TI with a Buffalo on it. I can't get a edge suitable for a shave it pops arm hair but refuses to

Take an edge the person that gave it to me said he had problems also that's why he gave it to me

I've not seen a lot of TI's with Buffalo on them do they not make them any more or is it a fake?

I would put a picture but don't know how from an iPad can any one help with that

I've not had a Buffalo so can't comment on your honing problems, sorry, but it's surely not a fake, they certainly exist. I would imagine that uploading a picture would be the same, ie click Go Advanced-from there scroll down and click Manage Attachments- add your file. If it doesn't work like that, I apologize, someone'll be along in a little who'll know.

Any quality razor can be honed by a competent person. You have to first decide if it's a quality razor which of course any TI is and then if there is some unique problem like strange spine wear or maybe a warp in the blade and then you need to figure out a honing strategy to fit the circumstances.
