Yes , the last pic is what I based by observation on. You can see the edge is flush with the stabiliser.

Thanked: 51I'm either misunderstanding the meaning of what you've said, or we're looking at two different things. The heel of the razor is fine and isn't rusted through like the pics in the original post make it seem to be. There's virtually no real rust on the razor at all.

Yes , I think you're misunderstanding as I'm not referring to rust but the geometry of the razor.
