    Default Fake Wade & Butcher??????

    Fake Wade & Butcher??????

    I have a Wade & Butcher razor and it looks new and modern. The scales are plastic and the etching looks like it was done by electric or a laser. Did anyone take over the name and continue to make them or is it a fake, has anyone else come across one.

    Can't it be just something, which cleaned up well and got new plastic scales?

    It might be genuine but the tang shape looks a little normal for a W&B. Don't think they are original scales though.

    I think the razor is genuine but the scales are new.

    I didn't get a chance to look. My McAfee site advisor program tells me that the site where those photos are stored contain spyware.

    Sorry about that Bill I wasn’t aware. I will have to find another site.
    I have posted pictures on another site. I am reluctant to list it on ebay as I don’t want any comeback.
    I suppose I could always offer a sale or return.

    I would think it is a real W&B. I havent seen a razor counterfit market that has been brand specific yet, only one that was specific to the country of origin. Also, the official W&N logo is on the razor, I doubt the entire logo would be faked by someone trying to pass it off as a W&B
